KAWAŁBUŁY is a game of words in Polish language. It means more or less „a piece of a bun”, but it also contains the word „kawa”, which in Polish means coffee. The cafe/bakery is located in the center of Warsaw and serves its own brand of coffee and fresh sandwiches and snacks made from buns baked on the site. This is also an example of such cooperation in which I have other benefits apart from remuneration in money. Well, I can always count on a cup of hot coffee 🙂
I have been involved in graphic design for many years. I gained experience in international advertising agencies such as McCANN ERICKSON, PUBLICIS, MOMENTUM. I was responsible for aesthetic image and marketing communication at Kino Polska Television and TVP Kultura (until 2015!). Since then I have been working in my own studio located in Warsaw’s Bielany district.
I like inspiring and engaging simplicity in graphic design. Expressive but uncomplicated aesthetic forms, elegant minimalism, interesting typography, ravishing creativity, bold associations and listening carefully to the client.
These are the qualities that I try to follow in my work.
